"I am REALLY enjoying reading this book again. When I first read it 40 years ago, I hadn't had my own children or finished my teacher training. I now have a grandchild. I taught for 10 years and then owned my own Montessori school for 10 years. My understanding of Montessori's method, and my personal experiences have expanded my understanding of her amazing insights and understanding of what is true education of children - their spiritual as well as their cognitive education. I wish this was required reading in all teacher training for young children. Humanity would be more inclusive, understanding, caring and see every human as having value and as a noble being worthy of being treated with grace and courtesy. We truly are now a global society and each of us is a global citizen."
