3-Part Card Pouches

Use these to organize, display, and store your 3-part cards.  Our new fold-up design means the cards are secured by cloth on all four sides. This helps minimize the risk of cards falling out in transit or on the shelf.

The cards are also displayed in order of use (assuming you are using these as a reading activity) from left-to-right, top-to-bottom. This is a subtle reminder that supports the child when they first open a pouch; they know to start with the top left one just like we do everywhere in the classroom (because that's how we read English).

Use color-coding to organize what's what on your shelves. You don't have to have a pouch for every card set you own. Instead, keep the pouch but rotate what they include regularly.

For example, if you use red pouches for vertebrates, keep the red pouch in the same location on your shelves but put the Amphibians cards in there one month, the Birds cards in there another month, etc.

You can place these pouches on a shelf just like a basket or tray, ready for the children to choose. You can even line them up on a wooden holder to display several at once.
