Our Partners

Maitri Learning is part of a community of schools, educators, and organizations who believe effective instruction must be rooted in neuroscience, responsive to each learner, designed for lasting success, and available at scale. Our partners help us test and refine our materials and activities before we offer them to the general public. They also help us bring our materials to a larger audience of people working to benefit teachers and students.

As a teacher-founded, woman-owned, eco-happy small business, Maitri Learning is committed to producing high-quality, ethically made resources that align with science of reading best practices and human development—empowering educators, engaging students, and fostering a lifelong love of learning. Our partners help us in that mission.

Greenspring Center for Lifelong Learning

Deeply rooted in Montessori practices, the Greenspring Center for Lifelong Learning is a non-profit organization created to elevate and support the critical work of educators, leaders, and schools. Their podcast, Voices in Montessori, shares vibrant and engaging conversations with seasoned Montessori educators and leaders, as well as other experts, to inspire and support our growing community of educators. Their research-based Montessori Mentoring Communities are year-long, weekly, virtual communities for new school leaders and Montessori Guides that provide high-quality education and practical help in real time. The Greenspring Center also offers customized professional development to meet your goals. Their trained presenters will work with you to tailor unique professional growth opportunities to meet your community exactly where they are.

Maitri Learning's founder, Julia Volkman, partnered with Greenspring to design their mentoring model, served as a Primary mentor during their pilot year, and is currently working on finalizing the research data from that pilot program.
