These are an essential component of the Build-a-Book activity but they can also be used alone. 

Stage 1: Layout the term cards. Match the entire definition to the corresponding term. Use the control card to check work independently.

Stage 2: Layout the term cards. Match the first-half of the definition cards to the terms. Then match the second-half of the definition card to the terms. Use the control card to check work independently.

Each term is formatted into six different cards as follows:

• 1 Control Card (word & full definition on one card) (3⅔” x 4⅓”)
• 2 Word Cards (3⅔” x ¾”)
• 1 Full Definition Card (3⅔” x 3⅜”)
• 1 First-half Definition Card (3⅔” x 1¼”)
• 1 Second-half Definition Card (3⅔” x 2¼”)
