Article: Veteran's Day Gratitude

Veteran's Day Gratitude

Today I have gratitude for the service of veterans and am simultaneously committed to working for peace!

I want to pause and honor in particular the service of my honorary dad, Colonel Bill Connelly. Colonel Bill was in the fifth wave of soldiers who on Normandy Beach on D-Day (he's 97 now). By some miracle, he survived the intense gunfire and helped secure the beach. My mom (Patricia McGoldrick) wrote his story in a book called "Colonel" that you can find on Amazon. It's worth the read!

Thank you Bill, Veteran's, and peace advocates!!
