The 1915 California Lectures

In 1915 Maria Montessori travelled to San Francisco, California to attend the Panama Pacific International Exposition at which she had built a glass-walled demonstration classroom. This book reproduces a series of lectures she delivered at the Exposition, some lectures she gave elsewhere in California, and several articles she wrote for the local press. This book is particularly interesting for those interested in the history of education and the development of Montessori's educational theories and methods.
